Small Talks on Big Data

These talks are designed to provide biomedical scientists with a glimpse of innovations in predictive modeling, to give data scientists and students in the field an understanding of the Big Data challenges in the biomedical sciences, and to communicate to the general public how Big Data is transforming the biomedical sciences, how computational advances are enabling these data to be exploited to improve human health, the challenges and limitations in doing this, and examples of the applications of computational phenotyping.
